The first and second world wars were drastically different from each other, and no one knew it was a global conflict until it became one. This third world war is no exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And let\u2019s be real, we are<\/em> already in a world war. Maybe it\u2019s not what we expected it to look like, but that\u2019s what it is because: 1.it has international implications, and 2.it involves warfare. Seems qualifying enough to me anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It just happens to be more economic\/geopolitical than military\/explosive-oriented this time around (so far), which makes sense considering the current global landscape has completely changed and technologies are far more advanced compared to the 1930s and 1940s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Regardless of whether it meets the criteria for a \u201cworld war\u201d, this Israel-led U.S.-backed war of aggression against Iran has set off a chain reaction with regional and global consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It was wholly unnecessary, rash, stupid, belligerent and immediately regrettable on every level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Who knows if it was actually driven by imperialist hubris, Israeli intelligence Trump extortion, or simply bellicose buffoonery, but we\u2019re in it for the long haul now with no end in sight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The CoD-ass so-called Operation \u201cEpic Fury\u201d (aka Epic Fail, Epstein Fury, AIPIAC Fury, etc.) is a total disaster by any metric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There\u2019s no plan, no objective, and now there\u2019s no turning back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At every turn, every opportunity for an offramp has been actively and effectively destroyed by Israel, which wants this war to continue above all else and at all costs, which will mostly be incurred by the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sure Trump could declare \u201cmission accomplished\u201d and run away at any time, but that won\u2019t stop Iran from keeping up the pressure. And honestly, they\u2019re right to do so. If you\u2019re not going by the international double standard set by Israel\/the U.S., Iran is entirely justified in counterattacking since they weren\u2019t the one that started the conflict and\u2014as Israel loves to say\u2014have a right to defend themselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n If they even wanted<\/em> to actually end the war at this juncture, there would have to be major<\/em> concessions from the U.S. by default, but Trump\u2019s not willing to do that. Not with Israel running the show. Not to shift blame since Trump is ultimately to blame for pursuing this, but Israel won\u2019t let him back out since he\u2019s backed into a corner of his own making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And so the righteous punishment against western hegemony will continue, as it deserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We brought this on ourselves, and we\u2019ll have to pay for it, both here and abroad.
